2024 Research Conversations: Christian Education Conference

In this annual event, the 4th Research Conversations: Christian Education Conference aims to provide high-quality, teacher-driven professional development at a low cost that connects educational research and teaching and learning in a Christian context. This conference brings together teachers in an informal and friendly setting where we can learn from each other by sharing how educational research, classroom-based research, and teacher experience impact our teaching and learning from a Christian perspective.

Keynote Speaker: Andy Wolfe                                           

Andy Wolfe, Executive Director of Education for the Church of England, oversees the Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership, impacting thousands of UK school leaders. He integrates theological reflection with evidence-based methods to enhance teaching, learning, and leadership. Andy has authored key educational resources for the Church of England, including the 'Called, Connected, Committed' leadership framework co-written with Professor David Ford. He also oversees initiatives like 'Growing Faith' and the Archbishops’ Young Leaders Award, shaping national policy and school inspections.
