Archive Collection

Donations

Like anything that has existed for over 140 years, our School has a lot of history behind it. Our history has been pieced together from numerous sources - oral histories and written texts, but also from leftover artefacts, preserved administrative documents, and numerous photos among other records. While we try our best to capture more of our history, no archivist can hope to capture everything themselves.

That is where you come in! We are always looking for a new historical documents and artifacts to enhance our archival record.

We would love to see:

Paper documents, digital documents, books, paintings, magazines, newspapers, flyers, tickets, cards, photos, printouts, records, tapes, CDs, videos, and artefacts.

We're interested in anything from old theatre programs, orders of service, report cards, badges, uniforms, even personal stories- anything relevant to our School that you might have.

This said - we already have plenty of uniforms from last 10 years, second hand textbooks and Andrean yearbooks - it is our oldest contributions that are most rare.

Before you donate, if you could provide any of the following information, we would be most grateful:

  • When was the item made? When was it used?
  • Is the item unique in any way? Is it one of a kind?
  • What is its provenance - it's history of use?
  • How is the item tied to the school? How is it relevant?
  • How is the item significant? Does it have historical value? Research value? Is it an item of religious relevance? Social relevance? Sentimental relevance?
  • Is the item in good condition?
