First Inventors, Tomorrow’s Creators

Please join us for an evening to unite friends and community and to celebrate and support Gawura.

We look forward to this opportunity to get together, sip champagne and enjoy delicious canapes, with other members of the School community, all in the name of raising funds for our wonderful Gawura school. This is an evening to learn together, hear about “First Inventors, Tomorrow’s Creators” and provide much needed funds to support the Gawura students and their families.  We hope to see you there.

Gawura is passionate about providing a culturally authentic education to our First Nations students.

While Gawura receives Federal Government funding, there is a gap, especially for those students who graduate from Gawura in Year 6 and go onto to complete their secondary education at St Andrew’s Cathedral School. We need your help.

Can’t make the evening, but still wish to support Gawura?  Please make a donation here.

Gawura is a co-educational K-6 day school for local Aboriginal children in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. All students are offered a scholarship at St Andrew’s Cathedral School for their secondary education. Gawura offers a culturally authentic education, leading to a deeper connection to the syllabus and increasing a sense of self and commitment to school.

As all students are on full scholarships, we raise funds to support their educational endeavours.

Look forward to seeing you at First Inventors, Tomorrow's creators to show your support for Gawura.
