St Andrew's Cathedral School has created an inspiring leadership speaker series for teachers seeking to develop their leadership potential. The two dynamic lectures will deliver powerful insights into educational leadership. Teachers from all schools, sectors and stages are welcome to attend.

Continuing in his series of navigating difficult conversations, in this session Neil will link some techniques which build from the difficult conversations session but through the important skill of creating safety when providing feedback to colleagues you work with. Neil will also look at Crucial Conversation's techniques of 'leading with good intent' and what to do and how to re-engage when a colleague is feeling threatened by your feedback.' Please note this is an interactive presentation, however if you unable to attend online on the evening, a recording will be provided to all registered participants.

Neil McDonald has been an experienced teacher and principal in a range of schools from primary through to secondary, across special education and inclusive contexts, and large complex P-12 schools. As Chief Executive Officer of three large organisations and having significant experience in HR within the state school sector, he brings a diverse background which enables him to effectively support and walk alongside leaders at all levels.
