NAIDOC Assembly: hosted by Gawura School, celebrating the theme of The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy.
Please join us as Gawura School celebrates NAIDOC Week with our community. Come along to learn about The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy. This will include special guests, our Gawura students, Gawura dancers. This is the highlight of the school calendar.
We are proud to announce Aunty Gail Mabo as guest speaker. Once again Aunty Rayma Johnson will lead the students in sharing story through dance and the students will reflect on the theme and what it means to them.
After the assembly, please join us for a morning tea - an opportunity for our community to gather, yarn, have a cup of tea and celebrate our students.
Seating is limited and RSVPs are a must!
Please note that while we endeavour to deliver the event as advertised, guest speakers and event details maybe subject to change without notice.
